Social enterprises help people achieve a renewed sense of dignity and purpose because they provide the opportunity of a real job, and Mission Possible is proud to have both MP Maintenance and MP Neighbours. These social enterprises grew out of a community need, and their continued success shows how crucial they are to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Our first social enterprise, MP Maintenance, was launched in 2009. Beginning with graffiti removal for the City of Vancouver, it quickly expanded to include commercial cleaning and grounds maintenance. Our team does everything from landscaping to pressure washing to exterior and interior painting to window and awning cleaning. They are available all year round, and more details can be found here!

MP Neighbours started in 2012 as a community-based solution to community safety and security. Crews complete regular neighbourhood routes in the Downtown Eastside, providing outreach and referral services to people on the streets, checking in with businesses, and building connections between these diverse groups. Additionally, the Neighbours program does needle pick-up, a service that impacts Vancouver by keeping it cleaner and safer. MP Neighbours helps assist those with employment barriers to reach their full potential, and builds a healthier, more trusting community, which has ultimately been an overall goal for Mission Possible.
